Club Geo Trek
Club GEO Trek introduces the fun activity of geocaching to youth going into grades 2 through 6. Geocaching is a global scavenger hunt where "geocachers" use a GPS app that offers coordinates, clues and puzzles to solve, in order to locate caches and/or place their own caches. In this workshop, be ready to Learn And Have Fun developing your "geo-sense," and practicing how to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX, by solving codes, virtual or physical puzzles, and Mystery Rooms, learning basic map reading and compass skills, tackling themed scavenger hunts and attempting to locate caches placed in the area!

Session I
Theme: Think Outside the Box! (10 Dexter St, Malden, MA)
For our Malden and Medford folks, this program features Team Scavenger Hunts, Mystery Rooms, Team Challenges and an introduction into geocaching (finding one or two caches placed nearby). Each day follows a schedule that includes arts -n-crafts, snack, indoor/outdoor games, two Think Outside The Box themed activities, lunch, and choice time.

Session II:
Theme: Intro to Geocaching! (Ed Burns Arena @ 422 Summer St, Arlington, MA)
If you have never been geocaching or want to learn more about the trend that is growing again, this workshop for youth entering grades 2nd through 5th, is for you! This workshop features Team Scavenger Hunts, Mystery Rooms, Team Challenges and two field trips to find caches in Arlington and/or surrounding communities. Each day follows a schedule that also includes arts -n-crafts, snack, indoor/outdoor games, two Think Outside The Box themed activities, lunch, and choice time.

Session III:
Theme: Geocaching 2.0 (Ed Burns Arena @ 422 Summer St, Arlington, MA)
A workshop for youth entering 3rd through 6th grade, this workshop features Team Scavenger Hunts, Mystery Rooms, Team Challenges and two field trips to find caches in Arlington and/or surrounding communities. Each day follows a schedule that also includes arts -n-crafts, snack, indoor/outdoor games, two Think Outside The Box themed activities, lunch, and choice time.
